1. Payment terms
When you take part in theory 1, we review the course of the driving course at Simply Driving and, in addition to that, the statutory theory lessons for theory 1. After you have attended theory 1, you must then complete the payment for the package you have chosen, this must be paid before theory 2 You can pay with the usual credit cards (VISA/Mastercard etc.). When paying by card, you have the option of splitting the payment of the legal package over 3 instalments. In that case, you must have paid the 1st installment before theory 2 and the next installments on the 1st of the following two months.

In the event of non-payment, amounts owed will result in your course being stopped until payment for the services received has been received. You can be reminded of payment by the driving school or your driving instructor via e-mail, SMS or phone.

2. The regret
If you want to stop your driving license process, we will refund the part of the legal package that you have not used. The parts of the legal package you have consumed are offset against our list prices. You will be given your lesson plan, so you have the opportunity to continue your course at another driving school if you wish.

3. Lesson plan
According to by law, the lesson plan must be signed by both student and driving instructor after each completed lesson. You must therefore bring your lesson plan to all theory and practical lessons. If you forget your lesson plan, we cannot carry out the lesson. If you lose your lesson plan, we charge a fee to have it reconstructed, which is billed to the driving school.

4. First aid
It is a legal requirement that everyone who obtains a driving license for the first time must complete a course in traffic-related first aid. It takes 8 hours divided into 4 hours of first aid in case of cardiac arrest and 4 hours of traffic-related first aid car/MC/tractor.

5. Cancellation rules
For all cancellation rules, if they are not observed, the money will be lost. This means, among other things, that the module in question in the event of cancellation as described in section 2 is considered completed and is not refunded.

Practical driving lesson - you can cancel up to 24 hours before the driving lesson. If you do not turn up without canceling in time, the full price for the number of lessons you have booked will be charged. Corona pass: If you show up without a valid corona pass, the full price for the number of lessons you have booked will be charged.

Maneuvering range - you can cancel up to 8 working days before the booked time. If you do not turn up without having canceled in time, the full price for the maneuvering track you have booked will be charged. Corona pass: If you show up without a valid corona pass, the full price for the maneuvering track you have booked will be charged.

Driving technology facility - you can cancel up to 8 working days before the booked time. If you don't show up without canceling in time, the full price for the driving equipment you have booked will be charged. Corona pass: If you show up without a valid corona pass, the full price for the driving technology facility you have booked will be charged.

First aid course - you can cancel up to 8 working days before the course day. If you do not show up without canceling in time,  then the price for the first aid course you have booked will be settled. Corona pass: If you show up without a valid corona pass, the price for the first aid course you have booked will be charged. 

​

Theory and practical test - you can cancel until 12.00 – 8 working days before the test day.

6. Requirements for coherent teaching
The law requires that the teaching course must be continuous without long breaks. You can read more about it here. If you have been absent between 3 and 4 months, you must partially start over on the driving course. If you are absent for more than 4 months, you must start the driving course all over again. In both cases, you must have a new lesson plan - and you lose your right of cancellation for the package you have purchased.

7. Driving lessons outside the package (repetition lessons)
You should be aware that our legal package only covers the law's minimum requirements for driving lessons and that many need refresher lessons before they are ready to take their driving test.

8. Theory and practical test
When you need to acquire your driving licence, you must pass a theory test and a practical test. The theory test can be taken at the earliest 1 month before you turn 17 and the practical test can be taken at the earliest when you are 17 years old and have passed the theory test. The practical test must be taken no later than 12 months after passing the theory test.

When you are ready for the test, the driving instructor will book the test for you. The theory test can only be booked when your application for a driving license has been approved (citizen service/police).

​

You must bring your application, the driving instructor's lesson plan, passport/ID (photo ID) for both the theory and driving test.

​

Before the practical test, amounts due must be paid before you can come to the practical test.

​

9. Application for driving licence
In order for us to process your application for a driver's license, you must bring a medical certificate (sealed envelope), photo, health card (health insurance certificate) and first aid certificate.

11. VAT
All prices are incl. 25% VAT.

​

12. Gift card
Gift cards purchased from SimplyDriving are valid for 12 months and cannot be refunded.
